I had a dream about Dave again about a month ago.  It was so insignificant I didn't think it even warranted a mention.  But then I thought better.

In this dream, he and I were in the same bar but he was in another room.  Someone had apparently told him about my website ihatedavegrohl.com and so he came over to me.  I was standing next to a bulletin board littered with band flyers and notices and there in the middle of it all was a flyer for this website.  He looked at the flyer, looked at me and said, "You're hair is getting a little long there buddy!"  then he ruffled it.  What was THAT about?!

I hate dream Dave Grohl.

Hmmmm...that's a good question! I'd probably end up tongue tied and star struck and not know what to say. Then I'd bring out a ratty, old piece of paper I had kept folded up in my pocket for years and say I had a few words prepared that I'd like to share because Beth Jarvis made me think about this once. :)

I've fantasized about being on a talk show because of my ultra-succesful blog about hating Dave Grohl and then they would surprise me by bringing him out and I'd pretend to hate him for awhile then we'd laugh and joke about it.

All fantasies aside, I'd probably just tell him that I hope he knows I really don't hate him and thanks for making great music. It has often been the fuel to get me through the mundane and it's been a big reason why I make music myself.

That dream actually sounds like something that could happen! I love the talk show fantasy! So so stinkin funny.

Until now, I didn't know the depth of your hatred for Dave (my boyfriend). You've got it bad!

Since you opened up your soul I have something embarrassing to share . . . I made Dave an awesome leather cuff with a silver plate that I stamped with "I just kinda died for you . . . " The fact that I actually did that sort of creeped myself out. Anyhow, I threw it on stage when we saw TCV in Vegas and then immediately ducked down into the crowd to hide (I'm not a very good stalker). I fantasized that he'd pick it up and call me onto the stage and profess his love for me. The truth is Dave didn't see the bracelet and I had to beg a security guard to retrieve it for me. Pathetic!

My husband and I have had a really good laugh about this!

p.s. If you get on a talk show with Dave will you give me a shout out? LOL

Mikell, that is too funny! I'll definitely give you a shout out if I'm ever on a talk show with Dave. I'll put that in my mental tickler file. Thanks for commenting, it adds a lot to the site.
